Lord, lead me to live by the Spirit and not the flesh. My flesh is tired and aching. I have passionately pursued things and the doors have been closed. I just want to feel Your calling. I have been called to wait at your throne, and I am trying, but the worries of this world are getting to me. I need to pay rent this summer, let's start by praying for that practical concern. I want to be finding a way to pay my rent that brings glory to you. Lord, I could bring glory to you serving coffee. I could bring glory to you serving high schoolers. I could bring glory to you in Omaha, Minneapolis, Colorado, or anywhere else, but I don't feel you leading me anywhere right now. If you are calling me to rest, I will rest. I would be grateful for that call. If you are calling me to service, I want to serve, if you will go with me. Jesus, make straight and clear my path. Please, Lord, please.
